Chef Dennis Leary is known for his taste in tiny spaces—his upscale restaurant Canteen fits just 20 diners—but his newest eatery takes that to even more of an extreme. Launched in August, the Golden West is in an alley in San Francisco’s financial district, where Mr. Leary’s staff sells lunch-to-go out of a window to a clientele of bankers and other area workers.
